"As a teenager, I found myself sketching the world I saw around me. By
the time I reached college, I was trying
other mediums but did not seriously consider "Artist" as a career. I
did continue to paint and take art workshops
and art classes at the local college in the different mediums. Now,
retired, with my family grown, I can paint to my heart's content.
Although oil is my medium of choice, I enjoy watercolor and also
designing and constructing silver jewelry. Each of my paintings or
pieces of jewelry is one-of-a-kind. I do not duplicate other than as
prints and greeting cards of my paintings."
